By Lingual Lionel I'd say that the game is sort of fun and all but it seems abandoned since rockstar has literally driven all of its attention to Gta 5 and not even taken the smallest consideration to their past games like San Andreas as well as vice city and Gta 4 and finally Gta 3 itself. The missions aren't that bad until you reach S.A.M witch in my opinion is the toughest mission in the game maybe besides the exchange the last one. The storyline though is pretty plain. The character you play as named Claude just goes on a quest for revenge to kill is girlfriend who betrayed him at a bank robbery but somehow gets a pointlessly sidetracked into helping the mafia and later the yakuza whom he later kills one of other leaders.
It was the very first Gta of its kind to have a particular view of the character which explains why it didn't do so well. Also when you finish all the missions it's pretty boring. You get a free tank but that's it. You can't own any shops or businesses the tunnel on shoreside vale that your probably wondering if it opens up doesn't in fact open up, you don't become the leader of any gang or anything. I mean the storyline is just pretty boring but I think that the idea of gangs was cool. To bad they took that away in Gta 5. But hey if you want something to play on a long car trip I'd say this is sort of a winner other then that it's a so so game.
By CDizzness There once was an awesome review I spent probably 30 mins typing. Then I hit cancel instead of send.palm to the forehead.almost drops phone and swipes on screen nearly deleting this. #epicfail This game is a classic piece of moving art. If you don't like it, Don't play it. If you only game on your phone and this is your first time, don't download; You're not worthy.
Pros: Enhanced graphics. From original PS2 and PC versions. (Lighting slightly off on mobile version) Smooth frame rate. I originally played this on my iPod 4th gen with Retina display 32 gb and was greatly impressed by how smooth the game ran. (Of course, once support of devices with iOS 6.0 stopped, the game became choppier) it runs like a charm on my iPhone SE as of now. Thrilling Storyline.
I'm sure you've played this before, if you haven't. Don't download it, remember??? You're not worthy!! (Haha) Easy Controls.
Sure it may be slightly complex at times. ('Look at me contradicting the title of this next segment!' 😅) What do you expect? Your fingers are covering up most of the screen.be thankful we live in a time that you can play, what was once a home console video game, on your cell phone!! (Greedy chumps) To sum it all up. 5 stars, great game. If you want to hi jack cars on your phone without going to jail.
This games for you!! By Mancini000000004 This game is good, but like other users have noted, once you reach the second island, the game becomes extremely laggy. The maps don’t load properly, and what gets me frustrated the most, is how the car you’re driving always pulls to the right.
Aiming controls aren’t good, and it’s hard to pan the camera around corners which consistently gets me killed in some missions. Currently, I’m on the mission ‘Decoy’ with Donald Love. The objective is to divert the cops attention for about two and a half minutes in an armored truck. Around the 30 second mark on the timer, the game freezes and restarts itself. I have tried to complete the mission about ten times now and the same thing happens every time. This has kept me from progressing in the game. I’ve tried everything to remedy this and nothing has worked.
What a bummer since I literally bought every GTA game on iOS. I’m playing on a new 10.5 iPad Pro. There should be no excuse for this. Please fix this!!!

I think very highly of rockstar games.
I didn't care as much for gta V as I did gta 4. However gta3 takes me back to my school aged days while not the first gta I've played and loved it was the first 3d gta for me and most others. Yeah its far from being my favorite but i still have fond memories of it. Controller support is great too. I love rockstar for that. Console games should have it always.
Thanks again rockstar for putting your games on Android. I used to be a 'hardcore gamer' via consoles and pc but now i just play on my phone thanks to companies like rockstar games i am able to legally relive memories on my phone. Hoping one day we will see a mobile version of gta 4. Just like the significant PS2 version Bought this game about two years ago and gave a rock-bottom review, when actually it was just my phone. So sorry for that Rockstar.
Its a fun, great game. I recommend having a newer model of a android phone for this app, other wise, it won't work. I have a ZTE ZMAX and this game is very enjoyable. Well, a little bit, but the same amount you would have If you kept the game on ps2, cutscenes are great, not one bit of lag or messed up effect or whatnot. Definitely a five-star. Great job, developers. I think very highly of rockstar games.

Definitely a five-star. Great job, developers. I really cannot understand any critism for this android version of one of the greatest games in history. Perhaps its an issue with their phone/tablet not the game itself. They have done the best job possible in my view, particularly with the controls which work surprisingly well (they are very well set out and responsive) The graphics are improved, particularly the draw distances and this runs smoothly at 100% detail on HTC one s.
Don't believe all the critics this is purely heaven and at 69p it's a steal!
